The aim of the skit is to lighten the atmosphere. This is meant to be a comedy. ;D

SCENE 1:
Storyteller: The traditional Eurasian wedding began with a trembling suitor asking for an appointment to meet his prospective father-in-law by a formal, handwritten letter…

Storyline: the groom pondering over what to propose on the letter. Walking around in the room with a pen in his hand(in deep thoughts). In the end, sit back in the chair and pretend to write the letter.

Props needed: 1 table,1 chair, a paper, a pen and the groom.

SCENE 2:
Storyteller: Once the deal is up, the groom will then visit the bride’s house to meet up the future in-laws for further discussion. Groom will have a chat with the bride’s father, while the bride’s mother comes in to offer refreshments once in a while.

Storyline: Groom will knock on human door (human door make sounds), bride’s mother will open the door. Bride’s father will be sitting on the chair and groom walk over to bow before sitting down to discuss with father. Bride’s mother comes in to offer refreshments and check out on groom. Bride will appear at a corner and peep at broom (feeling shy) :P

Props needed: 1 table,2 chairs, refreshments (tea cup, tea cup holder, plate with fruits), groom, bride's parents, a human door.

SCENE 3:
Storyteller: On the big day, the entrance of the bride on the arm of her father would be accompanied by the music of the organ playing Here Comes the Bride. Music would accompany the entire ceremony, culminating in a triumphant Wedding March…

Storyline: 2person will be in charge of ringing the bells when the bride step in with the father. Human doors will have to open automatically. Father will send bride all the way to the broom and leave to the guests seats.Couples make their promise before priest and exchange rings. END

Props: broom, bride, bride’s father, priest,choir,rest of the class as guests and relaives. Human door. 2 rings, a bunch of flowers,bells.
